Seliroko is committed to safeguarding the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of all children and young people involved in our programmes. We recognise our responsibility to create safe, inclusive, and respectful environments where participants can learn and engage without fear of harm, exploitation, or discrimination.
Our Child Safety and Protection framework outlines clear standards for behaviour, supervision, and accountability. All staff, volunteers, facilitators, and partners working with Seliroko are expected to adhere to these standards and act in the best interests of children at all times.
Seliroko has zero tolerance for any form of abuse, neglect, harassment, or exploitation. We take all concerns seriously and ensure that complaints are handled promptly, confidentially, and appropriately. Safeguarding principles are integrated into programme design, delivery, and partnerships to ensure child protection is embedded across all our work.
